There was an incredible opportunity to witness the inspiring engagement of Space Girls as they spoke to Austrian students about gender balance and career paths in the space sector at Living Planet Symposium organised by the European Space Agency in Vienna Austria. The enthusiasm and curiosity of the students were palpable, as they asked insightful questions about the necessary studies and the importance of subjects like mathematics in pursuing a career in space.
It’s clear that fostering a diverse workforce is essential for the future of space exploration, and discussions like these play a pivotal role in encouraging young minds to pursue their dreams without limitations.
